Dead with Christ
2 Corinthians 5:14-21
In this sermon from the summer, Joel Paulsen shares about life with Christ, and more than that, death with Christ. The beautiful promise of God that arises from this unexpected way of putting things is that we are new creations in Jesus through faith - even when we don't feel like new creations.

For many of us, idolatry is not a huge temptation. But when we see in the scripture that idolatry is bigger than bowing to idols, things get a bit more concerning. In fact, when we rely on anything other than Jesus for our ultimate satisfaction, we edge into idolatry. In today's sermon, one of our church members, Joel, shares about three False Reliances that we should guard against.
We're so glad you're worshiping with us today! In his first sermon, Joel Paulsen shares some characteristics of the New Creation from the lectionary readings, and encourages us to recognize and embrace the ways that God is building the New Creation in us.
