In the absence of justice, people tend to settle for vengeance. In the Old Covenant, God made a path for redemption. In order to remove sin, a valuable, living sacrifice would be killed - transferring the natural consequence of sin from man to beast. It was a representation, a copy, of the real thing. Jesus, our eternal (once for all) sacrifice, has freely given Himself in our place, settling our debt and bringing us to the Father! #SundaySermon #sttimsvt #christoursacrifice
