Scripture Readings: 1 Kings 3:3-14, Psalm 119:121-136, Romans 8:26-34, Matthew 13:31-33,44-50
Do you struggle with doubt? In this sermon, we consider the work of God on our behalf from before time began – that God in His wisdom and grace has called, justified, and glorified us. Paul describes that glory as “being conformed to the likeness of Jesus”. As we move through the Christian life, we learn the thoughts, attitudes, priorities, and abilities of Jesus.
*note: This sermon begins with a biographical sketch of William Wilberforce – remembered on the Anglican calendar on July 30 as a renewer or society.
